INTERNETRADIO KIM
Internet Radio KIM is an independent radio station dedicated to pop, prog and rock music. Founded at August 19, 2025 by Stephan Verrips, who developed a radio automation system under Linux called "LinuxRadio.Tools V2402" and expanded it with an offline AI integration featuring his own voice as an AI dj. That’s the voice you hear now, day and night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, announcing the music every two tracks. This makes me one of the first worldwide to have developed and run such a system.Internetradio KIM is een onafhankelijk radiostation gewijd aan pop-, prog- en rockmuziek. Opgericht op 19 Augustus 2025 door Stephan Verrips, die een radio-automatiseringssysteem onder Linux heeft ontwikkeld genaamd "LinuxRadio.Tools V2402" en dit heeft uitgebreid met een offline AI-integratie met zijn eigen stem als AI dj. Dat is de stem die je nu hoort, dag en nacht, 24 uur per dag, 7 dagen per week, die om de twee muziektracks de muziek aankondigt. Hiermee lijk ik een van de eersten wereldwijd te zijn die zo’n systeem heeft ontwikkeld en draaiende heeft.
NOTE : My system is far from perfect and tends to hallucinate a lot, sometimes spouting nonsense or providing inaccurate information. This is due to the offline model used and the fact that the technology isn’t yet mature enough for such systems to run perfectly offline. You should see it as a test, and I founded Internet Radio KIM to showcase how it sounds and as a "fun project for the sake of it."
LET OP : Mijn systeem is allesbehalve perfect en hallucineert veel, soms spreekt het onzin uit of klopt de informatie niet helemaal. Dit komt door het offline gebruikte model en het feit dat de tijd nog niet rijp is voor dit soort systemen om offline perfect te draaien. Zie het als een test, en ik heb Internetradio KIM opgericht om te laten horen hoe het klinkt en als "leuk voor de heb."
